A BORDERS man who admitted two drugs offences has been placed on a night-time home curfew for the next six months.
Peebles resident Ronald Duncan, 38, has been told to stay in his Standalane View home between the hours of 11pm and 8am.
He had previously pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and having the class A drug with intent to supply at a house in Old Town, Peebles, on April 29 last year.
Selkirk Sheriff Court was told it was accepted the drugs actually belonged to his supplier.
However, when police visited the property, Duncan had tried to hide the drugs on behalf of his supplier.
Duncan was given a 12-month Community Payback Order as an alternative to custody with a drug treatment requirement.
