TWO new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Thursday, March 25), the total number of COVID-19 cases since March 2020 is now 2,859.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with the virus remains at fewer than five for the 28th day running.
Nationally, a total of 215,599 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began last year.
