TWO areas in the Borders have recorded more than two cases of coronavirus in a recent seven-day period.
Public Health Scotland data shows the number of new cases in each of the 30 'neighbourhoods' in the region between March 23-29.
Eyemouth recorded five cases of COVID-19 in that period, giving it a seven-day rate of 142.9 per 100,000 of the population.
Meanwhile Selkirk saw three – giving the community a rate of 54.5 per 100,000 population.
The remaining 28 areas recorded between 0-2 cases.
As a result, Public Health Scotland "suppressed" their rates in order to "protect patient confidentiality".
The areas with suppressed rates are: Tweeddale West Area; Tweeddale East Area; St Boswells and Newtown Area; Peebles South; Peebles North; Melrose and Tweedbank Area; Lauder Area; Kelso South; Kelso North; Jedburgh; Hawick West End; Hawick North; Hawick Central; Galashiels West; Galashiels South; Galashiels North; Ettrick Yarrow and Lilliesleaf Area; Earlston, Stow and Clovenfords Area; Duns; Denholm and Hermitage; Coldstream Area; Chirnside and Area; Cheviot West; Cheviot East; Burnfoot; Berwickshire East; and Berwickshire Central.
