TWO new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Borders over the Easter weekend.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Tuesday, April 6), the total number of COVID-19 cases since March 2020 is now 2,874.
The tally was at 2,872 last Thursday (April 1).
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with the virus remains at fewer than five for the 39th day running.
Nationally, a total of 220,493 people have tested positive for COVID-19 since the pandemic began last year.
