THE Borders recorded one case of coronavirus over the weekend.
In the latest update published at 2pm today (April 12), Scottish Government figures showed that the region has now recorded 2,877 cases since the pandemic began.
Friday’s figure stood at 2,876.

Nationally, there have now been 222,161 cases of coronavirus since March last year.
There are still fewer than five people in hospital with coronavirus in the Borders, according to the latest government data.
That has been the case for the entirety of March and April.
