THE Borders has recorded three more cases of coronavirus during the last 24 hours, new figures reveal.
The Scottish Government released the latest data at 2pm today (Friday, April 16).
There have now been 2,882 cases of coronavirus in the Borders since the start of the pandemic, according to the latest figures.

Nationally, 223,261 positive cases have been recorded since March last year.
According to the most recent data, there are still fewer than five people in hospital in the region with the virus.
This has been the case every day through March and April, 2021.
