A MAN is injured after reportedly crash-landing a paraglider into a Borders school playground, say police.
The incident happened at St Ronan’s Primary School in Innerleithen on Sunday afternoon (April 25).
The 59-year-old was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, say police, where the man's condition was described as stable.
In a comment issued today (Tuesday, April 27), a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.40pm on Sunday, April 25, police received a report of a man having crashed a paraglider in the playground at St Ronan’s Primary School in Innerleithen.
“Emergency services attended and a 59-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where medical staff describe his condition as stable.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
