THE Borders recorded one case of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures.
Updated case data was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (April 29).
The latest figures show the Borders has now recorded 2,887 cases of the virus since the pandemic began.
Since March last year, Scotland has seen 225,861 positive cases of coronavirus.
There are still fewer than five people in hospital with the virus in the region, the most recent data shows.
