A MAN has been charged following reports of vehicle damage in the Borders, say police.
Officers say they were contacted on Sunday (May 9) after "a number of vehicles" were "deliberately damaged" in the Glendinning Terrace area of Galashiels.
A 48-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents, police say.
PC Callum Wood from Galashiels Police Station said: “We would like to thank the response from the community in supporting this enquiry.
"Reducing anti-social behaviour is a local priority for police in the Scottish Borders and we are committed to tackling this issue.”
The man is due to appear in court at a later date.
