A MOBILITY scooter has been stolen in a Borders town, say police.
Officers say the maroon-coloured Invacare motorised scooter was taken from the Mayfield area of Kelso.
A police spokesperson said: "Were you in the Mayfield area of Kelso between 10pm on Friday, April 30 and 8.40am on May 1? During these times a maroon-coloured Invacare motorised Scooter was stolen from a property.
"Did you see or hear anything suspicious? If you have any information regarding this incident please contact us on 101 using incident number 0909 of May 1.
"Alternatively if you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org".
