POLICE are trying to trace three people following a break-in at a restaurant in the Borders.

Officers say Chinese restaurant Jade Garden in Coldingham Road, Eyemouth, was targeted at the weekend.

They are keen to trace three people who were seen at the restaurant at around 12.10am on Saturday, May 8.

Detective Constable Bruce Dodds from Galashiels CID said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area of Coldingham Road around midnight on Friday, May 7 into the early hours of Saturday, May 8.

“If anyone believes they have information relating to this break-in, CCTV or dashcam footage of any people or vehicles in the vicinity then please get in touch quoting incident 1840 of May, 8, 2021.”
