THE number of coronavirus cases in the Borders has increased in the last 24 hours.
According to Scottish Government figures published today (Wednesday, May 19), three more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the region.
This brings the total number of people who have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic last year to 2,905.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with coronavirus remains at fewer than five.
Nationally there have 230,436 cases of coronavirus.
And across Scotland there are 78 people in hospital with COVID-19.
