Police are seeking help from the public
AN investigation has been launched following a report of a man "acting suspiciously" towards an 11-year-old girl in the Borders.
Police say the incident happened today in Walkerburn, Peeblesshire.
A spokesperson said: "[At] around 8.55am on Wednesday, May 19, police were called to a report of a man acting suspiciously towards an 11-year-old girl in Caberston Road, Walkerburn.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 0660 of Wednesday, May 19 or by completing the online 'Contact Us' from."
