THREE parked cars had their windows smashed near a Borders leisure centre, say police.
The incidents happened between 5.15pm and 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday, May 20) near the Teviotdale Leisure Centre in Hawick, according to officers.
They also report items were stolen from inside the cars.
Police sergeant Paul Begley said: “If anyone was in the area of Mansfield Road around this time and believe they witnessed anyone acting suspiciously or have information relating to these incidents please contact us quoting incident 2740 of May 20.
"Alternatively if you have information and wish to remain anonymous this can be done by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800-555-111."
