AN APPEAL has been launched to help find a dog which has gone missing in the Borders.
Police say the six-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier was last seen this morning (Tuesday, June 1) in Melrose.
A spokesperson said: "[The] male, miniature Yorkshire Terrier, six years old was last seen this morning in the wooded area behind Scottsdale near to Dingleton apartments after running off.
"Owners have searched these woods but have not found him as yet.
"Chipped to the owner (possibly old address in Edinburgh).
"Phone 101 quoting incident number 1001 of June 1."
