THE Borders has recorded six new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures showing updated case numbers were published at 2pm today (June 9).
And the statistics show the Borders has now recorded 2,961 cases of coronavirus since March last year.
In Scotland, the total number of cases has jumped up by more than a thousand in the last 24 hours – from 241,864 to 242,875.
According to the figures, there are still fewer than five people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
