A BORDERS man found in possession of heroin has been fined £200 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Fifty-one-year-old Robert Reilly, of Hawick, pleaded guilty to having 0.8 grammes of the class A drug worth around £40 when he was searched by police officers in Duke Street on November 30.
A £10 Victim Surcharge was also imposed.
He pleaded not guilty to a charge of theft and housebreaking and the first diet was continued until July 5.
