A BORDERS man who breached a court order on Christmas Day has been fined £150 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

Thirty-year-old Kevin Cook turned up at the house in Silverbuthall Road, Hawick, where his mother was which breached court orders in place.

Cook was also seen in the company of his mother and at the same house in May 26 which cost him another fine of £200.

Victim Surcharges of £10 were imposed on each charge.

Depute fiscal Miriam Clark said it was around 9.20pm on Christmas Day when Lesley Cook was doing the dishes after a meal and Cook walked in and started to be verbally aggressive to his mother.

Police were called and he was traced to a nearby address.
