THE Borders recorded 73 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, Scottish Government figures show.
Published at 2pm today (July 12), the new data reveals that the Borders has now seen 4,067 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
According to the figures, there are currently six people in hospital in the region with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
There were seven people in hospital on Saturday and Sunday, the figures show.
Scotland has now seen 316,037 virus cases since March last year.
