THE Borders recorded 75 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, latest figures show.
According to a Scottish Government update published at 2pm today (July 19), the region has now seen 4,308 cases of the virus since March last year.
The new figures show that there are seven people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19. Yesterday, there were eight.
Scotland has now recorded 330,851 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic, according to the data.
