FINES of £400 were imposed on a Borders man at Selkirk Sheriff Court after being of good behaviour during a period of deferred sentence.
Thirty-two-year-old Garry Scott, of Selkirk, previously pleaded guilty to brandishing a knife and a glass bottle after an argument he had with a woman at a house in the town's Tower Street on June 10 last year.
He then admitted obstructing three police officers and shouting and swearing at them at Borders General Hospital during the early hours of June 11.
Scott was fined a total of £400 with a £20 Victim Surcharge added on.
