A HAWICK motorist who was almost three times the legal drink drive limit has been banned from the road for three years at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Forty-year-old David Glendinning, of Fairhurst Drive, pleaded guilty to driving in Burnfoot Road, Hawick, on July 18, with a breath/alcohol count of 61 - the legal limit being 22.
He was also fined £500 for the offence.
