Police in Northumbria have confirmed that Jessica Shaw-Nickson has been traced safe and well in the Coldstream area.

THE public are being asked to help trace a missing person who police say has a “Borders connection”.

Jessica Shaw-Nickson, 19, was reported missing from the Tweedmouth area at around 11.30pm last night, according to officers.

She may have travelled towards Jedburgh, Kelso or Coldstream, and may be driving a dark blue or black Audi with a registration that ends in EHO, say police.

A police spokesperson said: “Jessica, 19, was reported missing at about 11.30pm yesterday after leaving an address in the Tweedmouth area two hours earlier.

“Nobody has heard from Jessica since and officers are now growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“A search is ongoing to locate Jessica to ensure she is safe and well – and it is believed that she may have travelled towards the Jedburgh, Kelso and Coldstream areas of the Scottish Borders.

“Jessica is a white female, 5’3 of medium build with long brown hair. She was last seen wearing grey joggers and a dark hoodie, and may be driving a dark blue or black Audi with a registration that ends EHO.

“We are now appealing for anyone who believes they may have seen Jessica, or who know her whereabouts, to get in touch immediately.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101 quoting log NP-20210825-1241.”
