GALA Fairydean Rovers’ weekend fixture in the Lowland League has been postponed due to positive coronavirus cases, according to a club spokesperson.

The Borders outfit had been due to face East Kilbride at Netherdale tomorrow (August 28).

However, the game has been called off due to positive COVID-19 cases within the club’s squad.

Last weekend’s away trip to University of Stirling did not go ahead due to positive cases at the Gala side.

Next weekend, Gala FR are due to play fellow Borderers Vale of Leithen, who currently sit at the bottom of the Lowland League.
