THE World Wide Wrestling League is set to make its return to Galashiels.
On Sunday, September 5, the MacArts Centre, on Bridge Street, will host a live event.
Before the pandemic, the wrestling at the centre “proved very popular”, says a spokesperson.
On next month’s event, they added: “The main event of the afternoon in Galashiels will see a heavyweight grudge match take place as co-holder of the Tag Team Championships Krieger will battle ‘The Original’ Craig Stephens.
“Stephen's recently attacked Krieger’s partner TJ Rage who had been rehabbing a torn bicep and has set the other half of the tag team champions return date back as a result. Krieger is out for revenge in this heated singles contest.”
Doors open at 2.30pm. Tickets are on sale from www.W3LWrestling.com, with general admission at £13.50. A family of four ticket is £46.
