The Eildon Singers who have been unable to meet for the last 18 months because of Covid-19 restrictions will hold their first practice on Wednesday 1 September at the Corn Exchange, Market Square, Melrose.
The mixed voice choir of around 40 members sing mainly classical music, with occasional lighter pieces.
They previously rehearsed upstairs in the Ormiston Institute in Melrose but changed venues to allow for social distancing.
The singers normally perform at two main concerts a year.
One concert is before Christmas, which is a mixture of choral works and carol singing. The other is in May, when the choir usually sings one or two major works.
They are very happy to welcome new members with no auditions.
