SENTENCE has been deferred on a Borders man who admitted two offences.
Thirty-four-year-old Brian Chilcott, of Kelso, pleaded guilty to threatening or abusive behaviour by shouting and swearing in East Bowmont Street on October 25 last year.
He also admitted an assault charge at Hawick Police Station by kicking an officer on the body.
Sentence was deferred at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until September 13 when Chilcott has other matters calling.
