THREE motorbikes have been stolen during a break-in in the Borders, according to police.

Officers say the incident happened at a property in Castlegate, Jedburgh, between 12am and 6.45am today (Friday, September 3).

The motorcycles were a black, white and orange KTM 690 SMCR; a grey, orange and purple Honda Fireblade; and a red, white and black Yamaha LC WPVS RD350.

Detective constable Andy Loughlin, of Galashiels CID, said: “Enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to come forward.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen any suspicious activity.

“We would also be keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting incident 0473 of September 3, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
