A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been found guilty by a jury of assault to severe injury.
Joshua Watson, who gave an address in the Kelso area, had denied the charge but was convicted following a two day trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
A 29-year-old man suffered a broken jaw in the incident in Kelso in April 2019.
Sentence was deferred on Watson until November 15 to await the outcome of other matters.
He is currently remanded in custody in connection with another case which next calls on October 25.
