A FORMER bank could become a ‘bistro bar’ after plans were submitted to Scottish Borders Council.
The Royal Bank of Scotland on Market Place, Eyemouth, closed its doors last year, according to papers attached to the application.
Last Friday (September 3), plans were put forward to change the use of the building from a bank to form a bistro bar.
A report submitted to the council states that the development would be “very welcome”, with the empty bank “making a negative contribution to the street”.
