A HOUSEBREAKING has taken place at a health centre in the Borders, according to police.
During the incident - which police say took place at around 2.40am on Thursday (September 16) - a television was stolen from the Teviot Medical Practice, Hawick.
It has since been recovered, according to officers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “[At] about 2.40am on the morning of Thursday September 16, 2021, the Teviot Medical Practice in Hawick was broken into and a television stolen from within.
“The television was later recovered by officers nearby the practice.
“If you saw anything suspicious or have CCTV or dashcam footage that may be of interest to our enquiry we ask you contact 101 or use our ‘Contact Form’ online quoting reference number 0355 of September 16, 2021.”
