RUGBY fans in the Borders can take their pick of a number of games this weekend.

Tonight (Friday 8 October) the Southern Knights entertain Stirling County at the Greenyards. Knights currently sit second top of the Super6 table and whatever the result will compete in the final next weekend against Ayrshire Bulls.

On Saturday in the Premiership, Jed-Forest and Selkirk both have home games against Musselburgh and Marr respectively whilst Hawick travel to face Aberdeen Grammar in the Granite City.

In the Tennent’s National League Division One on-form Gala face the trip to Tayside to play Dundee whilst Kelso host Biggar and Melrose face Cartha Queen’s Park at the Greenyards.

In the Tennent’s National League Division Two Peebles host Dumfries Saints.

In the Tennent’s National League Division Three Berwick have a home game against Howe of Fife.

In the East League Division One Duns host Ross High, in Division Two Hawick Linden are at home to Livingston and in Division Three Earlston host Liberton whilst Gala YM are in the capital to face Edinburgh Northern.

In the Reserve League East, Hawick Force are away to Boroughmuir, Jed-Forest A host Musselburgh and Selkirk A face Heriot’s Blues at Philiphaugh.

In the Reserve League East Division two Kelso Sharks are away to Edinburgh Accies, Melrose Storm host Peebles Reds and Gala A are away to Preston Lodge A.

In the Semi-Junior Borders League Hawick Youth face a trip to Alnwick, Duns Colts travel to Carlisle Colts, Earlston High School / Melrose Wasps host Tynedale, Gala Wanderers are away to Morpeth, Peebles Colts host Kelso Quinns and Selkirk Youth take on Jed Thistle at home.

On Sunday Kelso Ladies have an away fixture against Howe of Fife.
