A BORDERS man has admitted breaching his bail conditions.
Thirty-nine-year-old Scott Carter admitted to entering the Howgate in Hawick and being in contact with his partner.
He pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to the offence which happened on Monday, September 27.
Sentence was deferred until the outcome of his trial on a charge of threatening or abusive behaviour on the same occasion.
The trial has been fixed for February 1.
