Coronavirus cases in the Borders have risen by more than 50 in the last day
THE Borders has recorded 56 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, latest figures show.
According to Scottish Government data published at 2pm today (October 21), the Borders has now seen 8,557 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently nine people in the hospital in the Borders with confirmed cases of the virus – one more than yesterday.
Scotland has now recorded 617,536 cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest data.
