BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into Hawick woman who admitted assaulting another female to her injury.
Twenty-four-year-old Caitlin Thomson pleaded guilty to pulling the person by the hair, pushing her to the ground and repeatedly punching her to the head.
The offence happened at Thomson's home in Leishman Place on July 4 last year.
Sheriff Valerie Johnston deferred sentence at Jedburgh Sheriff Court until November 9 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
