THE Borders recorded more than 120 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, figures show.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Monday, October 25) since Friday (October 22) the number of positive cases in the Borders rose by 127 from 8,669 to 8,796.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with confirmed COVID-19 currently stands at 11 – this figure also stood at 12 on Friday.

Since March 2020 Scotland has recorded 627,597 cases of COVID-19.
And nationally there are currently 902 people in hospital with recently confirmed cases of coronavirus.
