THE Borders has recorded more than 50 new cases of coronavirus over the last day, according to the latest figures.
Data published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (November 19) shows that the number of COVID-19 cases jumped from 10,359 to 10,411 in 24 hours – a rise of 52.
There are currently 32 people in hospital with recently confirmed cases of the virus, the new figures show.
Scotland has now seen 698,962 cases since March last year.
