The Borders has recorded more than 40 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours
THE Borders has recorded 45 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, latest figures show.
An update was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 8).
And the new data shows that the Borders has now seen 11,294 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.
There are nine people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Scotland has now recorded 749,620 cases since March last year.
