THE Borders has recorded 84 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, latest figures show.
An update was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 10).
And the new data shows that the Borders has now seen 11,414 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.
There are nine people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Scotland has now recorded 757,813 cases since March last year.
