THE Borders has seen a rise in cases of coronavirus over the weekend, new data shows.
Updated figures were published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 13).
And the new data shows that the region saw 146 cases over the weekend, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 11,560.

There are currently seven people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the figures.
On Friday, there were nine people in hospital.
Scotland has now recorded 769,642 cases since March last year.
