Scottish Government figures show an increase of coronavirus cases in the Borders
THE Borders has recorded 29 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, latest figures show.
An update was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 14).
And the new data shows that the Borders has now seen 11,589 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.
There are five people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Scotland has now recorded 772,738 cases since March last year.
