BORDERER Stuart Hogg has capped off a memorable year by being named in World Rugby’s Men’s 15s Dream Team of the Year.

The Exeter Chief’s full-back led Scotland to Six Nations away wins over England and France and a victory over Australia in the Autumn Nations Series.

He also skippered the British and Irish Lions in their tour of South Africa.

Earlier this year he became Scotland’s record try-scorer of all time on 25, one clear of Ian Smith and fellow Hawick man Tony Stanger.

He also became the most capped full-back in tier-one men’s Test rugby.

Hogg is the only Scot to make the team.
