More than 200 cases were recorded in the Borders over the weekend
THE Borders has seen a rise in cases of coronavirus over the weekend, new data shows.
Updated figures were published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 13).
And the new data shows that the region saw 235 cases over the weekend, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 12,029
There are fewer than five people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the figures.
Scotland has now recorded 806,695 cases since March last year.
