A 58-YEAR-OLD man who pleaded guilty to possession of indecent images of children has been given a community pay back order.
Kingsley McLeod, who gave an address in Galashiels, also admitted taking or permitting to be taken, the indecent photos of youngsters.
McLeod, previously known as Drinkwater, had been due to face trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court but changed his plea to guilty.
He was given an 18-month community pay back order involving supervision and 180 hours unpaid work.
McLeod was also made subject to the Sexual Offences Registration for 18 months.
