All Live Borders activities across their sports, fitness, libraries, museums and venues will have a one-metre physical distancing requirement until 16 January.
The updated guidance may result in some activities and venues having reduced capacity, so where appropriate the charity recommend that customers book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Safety of customers and staff remains their priority and they will continue to take the appropriate measures to ensure a safe and spacious environment; the existing strict hygiene regimes and improved venue ventilation will continue to keep all activities as safe as is possible.
Indoor adult (non-professional) contact sport and physical activity will not be permitted and Live Borders will be in touch with all those affected by this new guidance.
Indoor hospitality venues will reintroduce physical distancing (1m) between groups (maximum 3 households per group).
Live Borders continue to encourage all customers to test regularly and wear face covering as required. Additional detailed sector specific guidance will continue to be issued and we will keep you fully informed.
