A 33-year-old man has admitted a charge of theft by shoplifting at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Daniel Hamilton gave an address in Kelso.
Sentence was deferred until the outcome of his trial on June 16 for a charge of possession of a bladed article in a public place.
