Three teenagers have been charged in connection with a fire to a section of Vale of Leithen’s stand at Victoria Park Innerleithen.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were alerted at 3.04pm on Saturday February 12 and extinguished the blaze.
The matter was reported to the police and an investigation launched.
Since then committee members and volunteers have worked tirelessly to make the stadium safe for fans ahead of this week’s home game against Dalbeattie Star.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Three male youths, aged 17, 16 and 15, have been charged in connection with a fire raising at Vale of Leithen Football Club in Innerleithen.
“The incident at the club’s ground at Victoria Park on Hall Street happened during the afternoon of Sunday, 13 February.
“Reports will be sent to the relevant authorities.”
