A GALASHIELS woman has been found guilty after a trial of embezzlement from a Borders garage.
Fifty-six-year-old Carol Brownlee, of High Street, had denied taking £2,836 from customers paying for repairs while in a position of trust at Lawries Garage in St Boswells between February 8, 2019, and August 16, 2019.
But she was found guilty of the charge following a trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court and fined £200.
