BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a 20-YEAR-OLD who assaulted a woman in a Galashiels flat.
Amber Lauder, who gave an address in Selkirk, pleaded guilty to two assaults on the woman by pulling her hair and kicking her on the body on January 27.
She also admitted kicking a male police constable on the body after officers attended at the scene.
Defence lawyer Ed Hulme told Selkirk Sheriff Court there was a background of mental health and alcohol difficulties.
Sentence was deferred until April 4 for a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
