He pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court
A BORDERS man has admitted having sexual intercourse with a girl who was 15 years old at the time.
Twenty-three-year-old David Steel, of Stow, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on various occasions at his Mitchelston Farm Cottages home and elsewhere in the Borders between May 2017 and May 2018.
He also admitted two counts of sending indecent messages to an under age girl between May 2018 and May 2019, including wanting to engage in sexual activity with her.
Sentence was deferred until April 11 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
